I give him 'assignments' to keep him in practice of using scent over sight. Just got lucky - he's protective yet submissive and inquisitive. Blood test indicate he's a mastiff (always A for Awesome) and greyhound (What?), which gives him his dainty, couch-potato, non-aggressiveness. While much can be said for training - it is a dog's genetics that will, in the end, get the best of you. I would say start with a good foundation breed for what you want - Working Breed etc. Chows...... hmmmm...... : 0Rebecca Dmytryknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5961134192769682671.post-35044501342169619102012-11-01T16:51:22.649-07:002012-11-01T16:51:22.649-07:00Yay Cooper!!! Let me know if you have any tips for training the ... erp ... chows! :-) WinnieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09818939202359261331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5961134192769682671.post-4933837028842591872012-10-28T20:05:25.917-07:002012-10-28T20:05:25.917-07:00Poison doesn't solve anything.
